| Shri Gulab Rai Charitable Trust is a philanthropic trust founded by Shri Gulab Rai in 1994 with the laudable aim of providing education and medical facilities to the deprived and the underprivileged. Real empowerment, he believed, comes through education. It is a right, which should be availed by all. Being loyal to his thoughts, the trust ensures education and health for all. The twin aims are the thrust of the trust. |

The education branch or ‘Vidyashree’ was started in 2001 with four important all encompassing wings. In the other wings, education is discounted for the weaker section with 20% reservation for them.
- Vidyashree’s Learning Nest (Play School)
- Vidyashree Center for Fine Arts imparting education in the field of classical music, dance, instrumental music, skating, arts & crafts etc.
- Vidyashree Institute for Learning Disabilities for helping children with learning disability mainly dyslexia and slow learners with special needs.
- Vidyashree Sneh Chayya – where quality education is provided to children of the weaker sections free of cost from four years to thirteen years of age.

Homeopathic dispensaries and mobile vans with free medicines ensure minimum health for all. Qualified practitioners ensure that they reach the poor and the weaker sections in the slums.
